The 2026 Genetics Society of Australasia Annual Conference will be hosted at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus in Brisbane, Queensland — one of Australia’s leading research universities and home to world-class research in genetics, genomics, and biotechnology. The campus offers a stunning riverside
setting, blending historic sandstone architecture with modern facilities, leafy subtropical courtyards, and state-of-the-art conference spaces.

 

All conference sessions, poster displays, and the exhibition will take place within UQ’s St Lucia campus, with catering and networking breaks held on campus to encourage interaction between delegates and industry partners.
